Bully And Soccer Mommy Team Up For New Single Lose You

Bully, real name Alicia Bognanno, is back with a new standalone single.
Lose You features vocal harmonies from fellow Nashville indie-rocker Sophie Allison of Soccer Mommy, and serves as the first preview of a forthcoming album, which is expected to be announced via Sub Pop later in 2023. Bognanno said:
"When Lose You came about it was the first time I've considered having someone else sing on a Bully song. I love Sophie's voice and have always admired everything she does so to me it was a no brainer. Watching her soar out of the Nashville scene and dominate indie music worldwide has been a joy. Writing Lose You was a way for me to work through the pain and reality of impermanence. It doesn't make it any easier but reflection is often followed by growth and to me that’s what life is all about."
Offering a fuzzy, '90s rock aesthetic and meeting the midpoint between the two artists' unique styles, it comes accompanied by tour news, with the singer-songwriter set to his the road in the UK for solo shows in May, including an appearance at Live At Leeds In The Park. She also has US dates in the diary for June with the Breeders, Pixies and Franz Ferdinand.
