Alex Lahey has shared a new single called The Sky Is Melting.

Along with the previously shared Shit Talkin', CongratulationsThey Wouldn't Let Me In and Good Time, it'll appear on the Australian singer-songwriter's upcoming album, 'The Answer Is Always Yes', which is due out on May 19 via Liberation Records.

Unfurling across guitar licks and heart-warmingly candid lyrics, the song is inspired by taking edibles in the desert. She said in a statement:

"I went to the desert and did a bunch of edibles and wrote a song about it. Definitely not the first person in the world to do it. But maybe it’s the first song to reference both Michael Bolton and an unnamed verified AirBnB host in the same verse."

An Evening with Alex Lahey will take over The Slaughtered Lamb in London tonight (May 4), following which Lahey will appear as a special guest to Vacations at their Manchester and Leeds shows. She also has US dates in the diary.

Her last album was 2019’s 'The Best of Luck Club'.

Alex Lahey Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows
