Torres Announces New Album 'What An Enormous Room', Shares Lead Single Collect

Mackenzie Scott has announced a new Torres album for early 2024.
'What An Enormous Room' will arrive through Merge on January 26, following up 2021's 'Thirstier'. It was recorded at Stadium Heights Sound in Durham, North Carolina, and co-produced by Scott and Sarah Jaffe, with mixing by TJ Allen in Bristol and Heba Kadry handling mastering.
As a preview, Torres has shared the record's lead single, Collect, a foot-stomping rock track that fuses crunching guitars and synths. Watch the song's video below.
Alongside the news, Torres has announced 2024 tour dates in the United States, the UK, and Europe. Tickets for her US shows go on general sale at 10am local time on Friday (October 6), while her UK gigs go on sale at 10am on Thursday (October 5). Her concerts in mainland Europe are already on sale.
