IDLES Extend 2024 World Tour With North American, UK And Ireland Dates

IDLES have extended their 2024 world tour with new dates in North America, Mexico, the UK and Ireland.
Having previously scheduled their biggest run of European shows for February and March, the Bristol post-punk quintet have lined up a series of gigs at outdoor UK venues for the summer.
They'll play Cardiff Castle, The Piece Hall in Halifax, Dreamland Margate and Live In The Wyldes in Cornwall between July 12 and 21, before returning for an autumn run, which include stops in Belfast, Dublin, and a landmark gig at London's Alexandra Palace.
They're also set to play some of their biggest concerts to date in North America in May and June, with performances scheduled at the Hollywood Palladium and Seattle's Paramount Theatre. The band will also visit Vancouver, Portland, San Francisco, Denver, Austin, Houston, Dallas, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando and New Orleans.
A second run of North American shows is scheduled between September 14 and 24, with a visit to Asheville in North Carolina, Atlanta, Chicago, Toronto, Montreal and Boston on the itinerary. They also have gigs in Asia later this week and dates in Mexico confirmed for early October.
Tickets for all new shows go on general sale at 9am local time next Friday (December 8). Tickets for their previously announced European trek are on sale now.
The band will be hitting the road in support of their new album, 'TANGK', the follow-up to 2021's Grammy-nominated 'Crawler', which is due out on February 16.
Produced by Nigel Godrich, Kenny Beats and the band's guitarist Mark Bowen, the record was previewed in October with the first single, Dancer, which features backing vocals from LCD Soundsystem's James Murphy and Nancy Whang. Another new track from the album is to be unveiled soon.
