Against The Current have shared a new single, Always You & I.
Leaning into themes of love, fate and finding something that stays constant through life, the romantic track is described by frontwoman Chrissy Costanza as being "about a love that transcends time, a soulmate that is destined across every lifetime."
She continued: "It’s about finding that person who is so certain and familiar that meeting them feels like coming home from the very first moment. They are the answer to every question; until the very end of all things, it was always them."
It offers one of the more introspective and vulnerable moments from the New York rock band's forthcoming third album, and follows earlier singles Heavenly and, most recently, Dead Man Walking, which now has an accompanying video directed by long-time collaborator Ryan Valdez.
Details on the follow-up to 2018's 'Past Lives' and 2021's 'fever' EP still remain under wraps, though the band are set to take their Till Death & Back Tour across the UK and Europe this autumn, including a show at London's O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire on November 4. They've also scheduled new shows in Asia and Australia for early next year, with tickets for the latter dates on sale at 10am local time on Friday (July 10).
