Metallica Confirm WorldWired North American Tour With Avenged Sevenfold And Volbeat

Metallica have announced their 2017 North American WorldWired tour.
Fresh from last night's Grammy Awards performance with Lady Gaga, the thrash legends have confirmed they will head out in support of their new album, 'Hardwired... To Self-Destruct', which was released in November last year.
The band's first proper North American tour since 2009 will get underway on May 10 at the M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Maryland before continuing into summer, including festival sets at Rock On The Range in Columbus and Festival D’Ete in Quebec City, plus a date at San Diego’s Petco Park. The tour concludes on August 16 in Edmonton, Alberta.
Avenged Sevenfold and Volbeat team up to provide main support on the majority of dates with Gojira stepping in for Volbeat on the last six shows.
Tickets go on general sale at 10am on February 17.
