Metallica have announced two shows on the East Coast of the United States for the fall.
The thrash metal legends will perform at the Mohegan Sun Arena in the Uncasville area of Montville, Connecticut on November 19 and 21 to celebrate the venue's 25th anniversary, with Suicidal Tendencies opening night one and Spiritbox night two.
As has been the case for the last few years, Metallica will use the No Repeat Weekend format they introduced during their 2023 M72 World Tour, with two entirely different setlists and no songs repeated across the two dates. Single day and two-day tickets go on general sale at 10am local time on Friday (April 10).
Metallica recently announced their already sold-out Life Burns Faster residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas, which runs from October 1 to November 7, before picking up again in January and continuing through to mid-March.
Next month, they'll continue their record-breaking M72 World Tour across Europe and the UK, beginning on May 9 in Athens, Greece and concluding with two nights at London Stadium on July 3 and 5.
The run includes No Repeat Weekend stops in Frankfurt, Budapest, Dublin and London, where the band will perform two shows in each city, as on previous legs. It also features One Night Only shows with full production in Athens, Bucharest, Chorzów, Zurich, Berlin, Bologna, Glasgow and Cardiff.
Support on most dates will come from Gojira and Knocked Loose. Pantera and Avatar will appear on the second nights in Frankfurt and Dublin, and the first shows in Budapest and Dublin. Tickets for their spring and summer dates are on sale now.
Metallica are touring in support of their most recent album, ’72 Seasons', released in 2023. In March 2025, they put out the live EP 'M72 World Tour: Mexico City'.
