Metallica Extend Life Burns Faster Las Vegas Sphere Residency Into Spring 2027

Due to demand, Metallica have added more dates to their Las Vegas Sphere residency.
The thrash metal giants have extended their Life Burns Faster run into next spring, adding 10 new shows: February 4, 6, 18, 20, 25 and 27, and March 4, 6, 11 and 13.
The band first announced the residency with eight dates on October 1 and 3, 15 and 17, 22 and 24, and 29 and 31. Due to pre-sale demand, they later added shows on October 8 and 10, November 5 and 7, and January 28 and 30. The newly announced dates bring the total number of shows in Nevada to 24.
The run will see Metallica become the first metal band to headline the state-of-the-art venue and will use the No Repeat Weekend format introduced during the band's 2023 M72 World Tour, with different setlists and no songs repeated across the Thursday and Saturday performances.
Two-night No Repeat Weekend tickets and single-show tickets are on sale now.
Metallica will continue their record-breaking M72 World Tour with dates across Europe and the UK this spring and summer. The run begins on May 9 in Athens, Greece and concludes with two nights at London Stadium on July 3 and 5.
The leg includes No Repeat Weekend stops in Frankfurt, Budapest, Dublin and London, where the band will perform two shows in each city, as on previous legs. It also features One Night Only shows with full production in Athens, Bucharest, Chorzów, Zurich, Berlin, Bologna, Glasgow and Cardiff.
Support on most dates will come from Gojira and Knocked Loose. Pantera and Avatar will appear on the second nights in Frankfurt and Dublin, and the first shows in Budapest and Dublin. Tickets for their spring and summer dates are on sale now.
Metallica are touring in support of their latest album, ’72 Seasons', released in 2023. More recently, in March 2025 they released the live EP 'M72 World Tour: Mexico City'.
