Metallica have added six dates to their Las Vegas Sphere residency due to pre-sale demand.
The thrash metal legends have extended their Life Burns Faster run into 2027, with new shows confirmed on October 8 and 10, November 5 and 7 and January 28 and 30.
The band will debut the residency with eight shows taking place on October 1 and 3, 15 and 17, 22 and 24, and 29 and 31, making them the first metal band to headline the state-of-the-art venue.
The run will once again adopt the No Repeat Weekend format introduced during the band's 2023 M72 World Tour, with different setlists and no songs repeated across the Thursday and Saturday performances.
Two-night No Repeat Weekend tickets and single-show tickets go on general sale at 10am local time on Friday (March 6).
Metallica are set to resume their record-breaking M72 World Tour with dates across Europe and the UK this spring and summer. The trek begins on May 9 in Athens, Greece and wraps up with two nights at London Stadium on July 3 and 5.
This latest leg includes No Repeat Weekend stops in Frankfurt, Budapest, Dublin and London, where the band will play two shows in each city, as they have on previous legs. It also includes One Night Only shows with full production in Athens, Bucharest, Chorzów, Zurich, Berlin, Bologna, Glasgow and Cardiff.
Support on most dates comes from Gojira and Knocked Loose. Pantera and Avatar will step in for the second nights in Frankfurt and Dublin, and the first shows in Budapest and Dublin. Tickets for their spring and summer dates are on sale now.
Metallica are touring behind their latest album, ’72 Seasons', released in 2023. More recently, in March 2025 they dropped the live EP 'M72 World Tour: Mexico City'.
