Karnivool are a progressive rock band from from Perth, Australia.
Formed in 1997, at the start of their career they made a name for themselves locally by playing cover versions of Nirvana and Carcass songs at parties, eventually going on to write their own music. They have now released three albums to date, in the shape of 'Themata' in 2005, 'Sound Awake' in 2009 and, most recently, 'Asymmetry' in 2013. They're due to put out their next LP, 'In Verses', in February 2026. Karnivool will support their new album with a European Tour in spring 2026, including stops in London and Manchester.
