Best known for being a long-time collaborator of Elton John—one of the most successful songwriting partnerships in history. He is the mind behind tracks such as Don't Go Breaking My Heart, I'm Still Standing, Tiny Dancer, I Guess That's Why They Call It the Blues, Candle in the Wind, Rocket Man and Your Song, he has also penned tracks for the likes of Alice Cooper, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rod Stewart, Heart and three of his own albums. He was inducted alongside Elton John into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1992, and into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in the Musical Excellence Award category in 2023. Bernie Taupin will celebrate the release of his new book with a series of An Evening With... shows across the UK in October 2023.
