Heavy rock n rollers Motörhead have lined up three massive shows for November. Lemmy, Phil Campbell and Mikkey Dee, who recently opened for Black Sabbath at Hyde Park, will ensure everything is louder than everything else at Manchester’s O2 Apollo, Birmingham’s NIA and London’s SSE Arena Wembley on November 4, 7 and 8 respectively. These new dates follow last year’s release of ‘Aftershock’, the band’s twenty-first studio album, with the Damned and the BossHoss providing support. EUROPE AND BLACK STAR RIDERS
Europe and Black Star Riders have confirmed a joint tour for spring 2015. Kicking off with two nights in Glasgow and finishing up with two nights in London, the tour, which takes in 14 shows, will see both bands showcasing new material from albums arriving in early spring next year, alongside fan favourites. Tickets are on sale at 9am on July 25, priced from £26.00 (£28.50 in London), plus fees.
Fresh from last week’s release of her debut single, If I Go, Ella Eyre has announced a new run of shows for October, her second UK tour of the year. Having headlined venues back in spring, Ella will return to the road for a string of shows this autumn, including her biggest headline show to date at London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire, building up the excitement towards the release of her debut album, due in October. Tickets are on sale at 9am on July 25, priced from £13.00 (£15.00 in London), plus fees.
Maverick Sabre has confirmed his return to the UK live stage, announcing a string of dates for the autumn. Building on the success of his 2012 debut, ‘Lonely Are The Brave’, Sabre drops his new single this week. Emotion is the second track, following Breathe, to come from his currently unnamed new album due later this year. Sabre will support the album with October shows in Liverpool, Sheffield, Glasgow, Birmingham, Manchester, Bristol, Oxford, Norwich and London. Feeder frontman Grant Nicholas has confirmed dates for a solo tour. Taking a break from the group dynamic, the singer will hit the road in the autumn to support the release of his solo album, ‘Yorktown Heights’, due on August 11 via Popping Candy. Grant hits up venues across the country between September 20 and October 23 with tickets on sale at 9am on July 25, priced from £15.00 (£16.00 in London), plus fees.
Ahead of festival appearances at Reading and Leeds next month and Bestival in the early autumn, SBTRKT has lined up shows for an autumn headline tour. In a busy week for SBTRKT, who has also unveiled details of his sophomore album, ‘Wonder Where We Land’, due on September 22, shows have been confirmed at O2 Academy Leeds, Glasgow’s O2 ABC, O2 Academy Bristol, Manchester’s Albert Hall, Nottingham’s Rock City and O2 Academy Brixton in London. Tickets are on sale at 9am on July 25, priced from £17.50 (£19.50 in London), plus fees.
