This Week’s New Releases: The Script, The Rolling Stones, Taylor Hawkins

There are some big hitters putting out records this week. The Script have dropped their sixth studio album, Taylor Hawkins and the Coattail Riders have released a star-studded LP, and the Rolling Stones have shared a previously unreleased live album and concert film recorded during the last of their five shows in Argentina’s capital city in 1998.

Slayer will bring their farewell tour to the UK and Europe this autumn. Slayer tickets are on sale now, priced from £40.00 plus fees.

SEAN PAUL

The dancehall star will play Coventry’s Ricoh Arena on August 9 and Cardiff’s Motorpoint Arena on August 10, following his appearance at the inaugural RiZe Festival. Tickets for the Coventry date go on general sale at 10am on May 21, while tickets for the Cardiff show are available from 10am on May 18.

BLUESFEST with Robert Cray and Raphael Saadiq

Robert Cray will take to the BluesFest stage at the IndigO2 on October 27, with support from Don Bryant and the Bo-Keys, following up Saadiq’s set at the venue on the previous evening. Cray also tours the UK around his performance in London. Tickets are on sale at 9am on May 18.

VAN MORRISON

The legendary singer-songwriter will perform at St. David’s Hall in Cardiff on October 12, the Princess Theatre in Torquay on October 16 and 17, and Bristol’s Hippodrome Theatre on October 22, prior to sharing a BluesFest bill with Robert Plant at the O2 Arena in London and the 3Arena in Dublin at the end of the month. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on May 18, priced from £45.00 plus booking fee.

GLASVEGAS

the Scottish indie-rockers will celebrate their 10th anniversary with a performance of their Self-titled debut album in its entirety in Leeds, Liverpool, London, Brighton, Reading, Cardiff, Bristol, Nottingham, Portsmouth, Manchetser, Sheffield, and Newcastle during October. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on May 18.

THE CORAL

MIKE AND THE MECHANICS

The band, Mike Rutherford, Andrew Roachford and Tim Howard, will take in 34 dates across the UK between February 23 and April 9, including a show at the Royal Albert Hall in London on April 1. The sets will consist of material from their latest album, ‘Let Me Fly’, and back catalogue. Tickets go on sale at 10am on May 18, except for Eastbourne Congress Theatre, which will be available from 10am on June 4.
