Craig David is an English R&B and garage singer-songwriter, producer and DJ from Southampton, best known for hits such as Artful Dodger’s Re-Rewind, Fill Me In and 7 Days.
He started his music career in 1999, after featuring on Artful Dodger’s hit Re-Rewind. Releasing his debut album, ‘Born to Do It’, in 2000, he hit #1 in the UK Album Chart. He went on to release a further four albums, as well as a greatest hits compilation, has been nominated for twelve BRIT Awards and has achieved 17 UK Top 50 singles. In 2015 he returned with When The Bassline Drops, with Big Narstie and released his latest album, ‘Following My Intuition’, in September 2016 via Insanity Records and Sony Music, which he toured across UK arenas though spring and summer 2017.
He has headlined his own shows and tours across the UK. In 2015 he performed at Fabric’s 16th Birthday, as well as Notting Hill Carnival, Bestival, and a show at Alexandra Palace with Major Lazor. He’s also brought his Miami penthouse parties, dubbed 'TS5', to London's Shapes and Oslo.
After teaming up with Bastille's Dan for their latest collaborative single, Craig David has announced he'll play two racecourse shows as part of the Jockey Club Live series at Aintree and Newmarket.
