This week is a mixed bag for sure. Miley Cyrus has put our her highly anticipated new record that features collaborations with Dua Lipa, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Billy Idol and Steve Nicks, while the Smashing Pumpkins have returned with a double LP, and Palm Reader have shared the follow-up to 2018’s ‘Braille’.

Elton John

The legendary singer-songwriter will play a third and final date at Birmingham’s Utilita Arena on November 24, 2021, as part of his Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour. The show will follow his previously announced stops at the venue on November 21 and 23. Tickets for the new date go on sale at 10am on November 27.

Steps

Steps have four extra dates to their What The Future Holds Tour, doubling up at Birmingham’s Resorts World Arena on November 6, Manchester Arena on November 12, the SSE Hydro in Glasgow on November 23, and the O2 in London on November 27. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on November 27, the same day the quintet release their new album, ‘What The Future Holds’.

Jess Glynne

The pop vocalist will play Wrexham’s Racecourse Ground on June 4 and Cardiff Castle on June 26 alongside Jockey Club Live gigs at Newcastle Racecourse, Lingfield Park Racecourse, Doncaster Racecourse and Windsor Racecourse. She also has new Forest Live dates at Cannock Chase Forest in Rugeley, Westonbirt Arboretum in Tetbury and Thetford Forest in Brandon on June 10, 13 and 20, respectively. Tim Peake

Tim Peake, the European Space Agency astronaut who in 2015 became the first Britain to visit the International Space Station, will hit the road for his My Journey To Space Tour between October 24 and December 8, 2021. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on November 27.

The Specials

The ska legends are set to tour the UK in 2021, kicking off the run in Swindon on August 31 before heading to Plymouth, Bournemouth, Brighton, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Manchester, Cardiff, Hull, Blackpool, Birmingham, Nottingham and Doncaster. The trek also includes a hometown date at Coventry’s Ricoh Arena and will culminate with two London shows at the Camden Roundhouse. Tickets for all dates go on general sale at 10am on September 11.

In June, the band rescheduled their performances at Halifax’s Piece Hall and Dublin’s Trinity College to summer 2021 due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Ed Sheeran has done it, he’s knocked U2 off the top spot and all the way down to #16 on February’s Hot Ticket Chart. Following closely behind in second place is Celine Dion, who will return to the UK this summer for an arena tour.
