Bare-chested Scottish rockers Biffy Clyro have announced that “God & Satan” will be the next single release from their current ‘Revolutions’ album.
Described as “a huge polished brute of a record” by The Guardian and “supremely confident, passionate and gritty work” by The Sun, the new single sees Biffy delve into thoughts of life after death.
Having now notched up 300,000 sales of their ‘Revolutions’ album, Biffy Clyro have further cemented their reputation as one of the biggest bands in rock, with the announcement of the new single being much-anticipated by fans.
“God & Satan” will be released August 23rd on 7”, CD and digital format and will coincide with the Scottish trio’s confirmed appearance at this year’s Reading and Leeds festivals on August 27th and August 29th.
Biffy are enjoying a busy summer having played a record breaking ninth show at Scotland’s T in the Park festival last weekend, they also played a secret show at last month’s Glastonbury 40th Anniversary festival. They now prepare for a headline performance at the iTunes festival on July 31st.
That’s not all however, Biffy Clyro are set to hit the road following their festival appearances with an eight-date tour of the UK this
November. The band will play three Scottish shows, one gig in Aberdeen and two gigs in Glasgow, as well as rolling through venues in Hull, Nottingham, Plymouth, Manchester before closing the tour at London’s Wembley Arena.
