Elbow Announce Huge UK Arena Tour For March 2011 & Tickets

Mercury Music Prize winners Elbow are set to return next Spring after announcing a major UK arena tour for their fifth studio album.
Elbow have so far confirmed seven dates for the tour which will support the release of their currently untitled follow-up to 2008's Mercury Prize-winning 'Seldom Seen Kid'. Working hard on the album, which is expected to be released in early 2011, frontman Guy Garvey previously spoke to BBC 6 Music and revealed that the new album's working title was 'Lippy Kids'. When asked about the style of the new material, Guy had this to say.
“It’s quite a nostalgic thing. I’ve got this thing about growing up: not needing to! But a certain period of your life when - well kids are called ‘hoodies’ these days aren’t they when they reach their teens. I remember it being an amazing important time, so I’ve written a lot about that.”
The tour, which is to go ahead in March 2011, is set to include some surprises with Garvey revealing to fans. "There will be some theatre involved, There are a few very special guests on the record, and hopefully they’ll be coming out with us live as well."
Elbow's March 2011 tour will roll through some of the biggest arenas in the country with the band confirming shows at London's O2 Arena and Manchester's MEN Arena amongst others.

19th Sheffield Arena, Sheffield
20th Echo Arena, Liverpool

25th Men Arena, Manchester
28th O2 Arena, London
