Could there be a better tribute to the melodiously shrieking man-banshees (manshees?) of pop The Bee Gees, than the face-melting power-chords of glam metal act Tragedy? If there is, we don’t want to know about it!
When asked, "why?" Tragedy answered, “It has been said that Ted Williams could see the seams on a baseball as it was pitched towards him. We, the genii (plural for genius, duh!) of Tragedy have huge, powerful brains in our balls (brainballs). We knew that if we took our steaming-hot metal to the sweet syrup of the Bee Gees that it would change the world forever.”
Described as a combination of Tenacious D, Spinal Tap and Bon Jovi, Tragedy have been melting faces and wetting pants (through laughter, we think) for quite some time now.
Some have said Tragedy are the heralds of the Bee Gees who came before them and will keep the Bee Gees spirit alive until they come back again. Others point out that the Bee Gees haven’t actually gone anywhere.
