Young Rebel Set to Release New Single ‘Measure of a Man’

Folk-rock seven-piece Young Rebel Set are to release their latest single ‘Measure of a Man’ as a digital download on 14th November.
The single follows the band’s previously self-released EP ‘Won’t Get Up Again’ and precedes their debut album, which they are currently working on. They hope to have the album ready and released by early 2011.
Young Rebel Set, who hail from Stockton-on-Tees, are made up of Matty Chipcase (vocals/guitar), Andy Parmley (guitar), Chris Parmley (bass), Mark Evans (mandolin), Paddy Jordan (guitar/keyboard), Luke Evans (drums) and Dave Coombe (harmonica).
‘Measure of a Man’ includes two more new tracks as part of the download: ‘The Reckoning’ and ‘Love Me Once, Love Me Again’. The single is mixed by Dan Austin, who the band have been working with on the album. Dan has previously worked with a number of other bands, including Doves, Massive Attack and Cherry Ghost.
Young Rebel Set are currently on tour until the end of October and are set to play at the following venues:
