Paul Heaton has announced a series of UK and Ireland shows for summer 2027.
The former Beautiful South and Housemartins vocalist will be accompanied by his band and regular collaborator Rianne Downey at Leeds' AMT Headingley Stadium (home of rugby league club Leeds Rhinos) on June 12, where they'll be joined by special guests Echo and the Bunnymen, The Guest List and Curiosity Shop.
Heaton, Downey and the band will also perform with Lightning Seeds as support at Belfast's The O2 on June 4, Dublin's 3Arena on June 5 and Cork's Live at the Marquee series on July 3.
Ahead of the run, they'll start the summer headlining Neighbourhood Weekender on May 29, which is set to return to Warrington’s Victoria Park across the spring Bank Holiday weekend, alongside Courteeners and Reytons.
The shows will see the singer-songwriter perform a career-spanning set made up of classic tracks from The Beautiful South and The Housemartins. Tickets for all dates go on general sale at 9.30am next Friday (September 4).
The announcement follows the release of Heaton's 23rd album, 'Jenius', last week. He'll support the record with a previously scheduled UK arena tour this autumn, again joined by Downey, who also appears on the album. Tickets are on sale now.
