Adam Lambert Looking Towards The Big Screen

American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert has revealed that he wants to become a movie star. The Californian singer, who is currently mid-way through an extensive worldwide tour, declared in a recent interview that he would like to make the perilous steps into a major acting role.
Lambert, who claims to have fairly extensive acting experience, has claimed that if he was offered a role in a film, he would love to make the move.
When asked about his future ambitions as an artist and performer, Lambert told a Malaysian newspaper: "I'd definitely be interested in that [acting in a film]. I did theatre for about 10 years in Los Angeles and a little bit in Europe. Getting back into acting would be very exciting and something that would make sense for me. I don't have any immediate plans but maybe something will come up."
He continued: "I think I'd like to try on-screen because I've never really done much of that, I've done a lot of theatre and I'm not saying I won't do more, but I'd like to do something new."
The 28 year old singer is clearly looking at making some life plans. When interviewed in Australia earlier this week, Lambert discussed his recent Malaysian concert controversy and the likelihood of having children: “I think there will come a time when that will be a possibility...If I was to raise a young person, I would want to give them all of me and so I would want to make sure I was in a place where the career could definitely be put on the back burner for five to 10 years.”
