Bon Jovi To Play Intimate London Show For Children In Need

One of the biggest bands in the world, Bon Jovi are playing a small gig at BBC Maida Vale studios for BBC Radio 2 and BBC Children In Need.

Last year Bon Jovi played the BBC Radio Theatre in an intimate gig for an audience of just 350. The band are now hoping to harness their fantastic fans to raise as much money as possible for Children In Need, to help change the lives of some of the UK's most disadvantaged children. Fans applying to attend the exclusive show will donate money to the cause via their phone calls.

To enter just call 0904 16 17 888 to enter a competition draw for a pair of tickets with £1.10 per call going directly to BBC Children in Need. Calls cost £1.50 from a BT landline, other networks may vary. Calls from mobiles will cost considerably more. £1.10 will go to BBC Children in Need. You must be over 18 or over and have the bill payers permission. The competition will close at 7.00pm on Thursday 28thOctober.

The performance is Tuesday November 2 and fans who do not win tickets can listen live during Simon Mayo's BBC Radio 2 show between 5-7pm.

Celebrating the release of their 30 song 'Greatest Hits' deluxe album on November 1st, Bon Jovi will play to just 100 people at Maida Vale, a rare opportunity to get up close and personal to a band who have sold in excess of 120 million albums worldwide and performed over 2700 concerts in over 50 countries to 35 million fans.

Summer 2010 saw Bon Jovi playing to more than 190,000 people at London's O2 arena over a staggering 12 night residency.

Music icons Bon Jovi are releasing a career-spanning greatest hits compilation Greatest Hits on November 1st on Mercury Records. The deluxe album includes four new songs ('The More,' 'Things Change,' 'No Apologies,' 'This Is Love, This Is Life' and the first single, 'What Do You Got?').

In addition, Bon Jovi's 2011 World Tour will hit the UK in June with tickets going on sale at 9am on Monday 1st November. Going out with a bang, Bon Jovi will wrap up their UK tour in style marking the 40th anniversary celebrations of Hard Rock with Hard Rock Calling in Hyde Park.
