Manic Street Preachers Debut Video For New Single 'Some Kind Of Nothingness'

Manic Street Preachers have unveiled the video for 'Some Kind of Nothingness', the second single to be taken from their tenth studio album 'Postcards From A Young Man'.
Released on December 6th on Columbia Records, 'Some Kind Of Nothingness', features the unmistakable voice of Ian McCulloch. The track will be released on 2 x CD and 7” - all featuring brand new tracks.
Front man and lead guitarist, James Dean Bradfield’s first gig ever was Echo And The Bunnymen at Bristol’s Colston Hall. James describes McCulloch’s vocal performance on the track as “extraordinary’’. With a rousing gospel choir and soaring strings, Q Magazine were moved to comment that the track is a “…meld of gargantuan melodies and florid elegance.”
Nicky Wire, the band’s lyricist and bassist adds, ‘Given that it was James, Richey and Sean’s first gig, I think there’s something resplendent about the fact that he’s there singing on our tenth album. It’s about loss and the importance of grief”.
‘Postcards From A Young Man’ was released last month to enormous acclaim and debuted at No. 3 in the UK charts. Since its release the band embarked on a massive UK. The band now travel to Australia and Japan for tours to the end of the year.
