True Tiger Reveal New Video to ‘Slang Like This’

Tuesday, 16 November 2010 Written by Rob Sleigh

London DJ/producer collective True Tiger have unveiled the video to their track ‘Slang Like This’, which was released last month. The new song is the first to be taken from their debut album, which is due out next year.

True Tiger were formed in 2004 from a team of Watford and London-based DJs and producers. Since then, they have released over 20 singles on their own label, True Tiger Recordings. The group currently consists of Scandalous Unltd, Blue Bear, Sukh Knight, Stenchman and Chunky.

True Tiger have already remixed and produced for a number of well-known artists, including Dizzee Rascal, Tinie Tempah, Plan B, Tinchy Stryder, Kelly Rowland and Paloma Faith. They also remixed the track ‘Jungle’ on Professor Green’s recent album ‘Alive Till I’m Dead’ and have previously toured with Enter Shikari.

Talking about the new track, True Tiger said: “We're really excited to release 'Slang Like This'. Hopefully, it will give people a taste of what's to come on the album." The single also features South-East London rapper P Money, who said: "The track brings society together in terms of using slang. I go to a lot of different areas to perform and one thing all different ethnic cultures can relate to is my slang. That's how the idea of the tune came about.”
