Bob Sinclar - Best Reggae Album 2010 Grammy Nomination

What happens when you put Bob Sinclar in the studio with legendary reggae producers Sly & Robbie? Answer: a Grammy Nomination for Best Reggae Album.

Bob Sinclar might not be the most obvious name with it comes to Reggae, but earlier this year he flew out to the island’s capital of Kingston to re-work some of his biggest dance floor hits into his eighth studio album Made In Jamaica – and the results speak for themselves.

Tracks like 'World Hold On', 'Love Generation', 'I Feel For You', 'Jamaica Avenue' and more – already huge international hits in their own right – took on a brand new lease of life as the beats were slowed down and soaked in a heavy dose of Caribbean sunshine. The album received critical acclaim from all corners and now the final seal of approval – the highly sought-after Grammy Nomination.

Of course this is not the first Grammy that Bob Sinclar has been in contention for. In 2007, the E-Smoove edit of his massive smash 'World, Hold On' received a nomination in the Best Remixed Recording category. Can 2011 be the year that Bob goes one better and comes home with that iconic gong?

Voting for the Grammy Awards is open to members, so if Bob Sinclar, Sly and Robbie have your support, head over to www.grammy.com to cast your vote. The awards ceremony is broadcast on CBS in the United States and varying affiliates worldwide.
