Haggard Cat have shared another single from their upcoming third album.
Fusing the Nottingham riff merchants' punk attitude with their gritty alt-rock sound, Warpath marks the second preview of 'The Pain That Orbits Life', due out on May 8 via their new label home, Church Road Records. The duo said:
"Warpath is about the moment when you’re clear of a negative situation in your life, a bad job, a bad relationship, a bad friendship, and all the romanticism around it has faded. That moment of clarity when you look back and realise things were actually pretty toxic throughout.
"It’s probably one of the most intense moments on the album, and we can’t wait to tear the roofs off of some venues with it."
Produced by double Grammy Award-winning producer Adrian Bushby, the follow-up to 2020's 'Common Sense Holiday' was introduced last month by vocalist-guitarist Matt Reynolds and drummer-vocalist Tom Marsh alongside the release of its lead single, I Hate It Here.
Haggard Cat will play Noizzefest in Cardiff in April, followed by a UK tour in May, calling in Nottingham, Manchester, Glasgow, Newcastle, London, Southampton and Bristol. Tickets are on sale now.
