Ducktails Finishes Third Album

One man psychedelic pop project Ducktails has finished his third full length album, Ducktails III: Arcade Dynamics, and will release it on the 7th of February next year.
Real name Matthew Mondanile, who is also guitarist of band Real Estate, began his career at the age of just 22, releasing cassette albums. He then released his first 7 inch record on Breaking World Records, and continued producing and releasing records, CDs and cassettes on various independent labels such as Not Not Fun, Olde English Spelling Bee,Release the Bats, Arbor, and Goaty Tapes.
Nowadays, the New Jersey born musician spends all his time touring, producing, recording and partying in his home state, under his persona Ducktails.
Not to be held down to one genre, Ducktail’s work is considered to be drone, psych and even ‘music concrete’ and was said by David Keenan to be part of the ‘hypnagogic pop’ movement.
