Considered to be Britpop’s next big thing, Brother have continued their on-going climb to success after being announced to play at This Feeling’s New Year’s Eve event.
This Feeling is a club night at the Vibe Bar in London, and they are hosting a massive 4 room New Year’s Eve party, including Goldie Looking Chain DJ Maggot and other brand new bands tipped for similar success in 2011, such as ‘Life In Film’ and ‘Wheels’, as well as a whole other bunch of big names that are still to be announced.
The night looks set to be a good one, with a heated marquee and free champagne deals on the night!
Slough-based newcomers Brother are still un-signed, but are said to be penning a deal very soon. They are making a big impact for themselves – back in September Zane Lowe played their track “Darling Buds Of May” on his show and loved it, admitting “I really liked that, there’s something really very natural and effortless about that”. It has also been said, by Plugged In, that “if Britpop is to make a revival then Brother are the band to start it off”.
On the back of a legendary gig at the Met Bar in London, the future looks nothing but bright for the four boys.
