Hammerfest III - New Additions To Line Up!

This ain't Sparta. It's North Wales. Hammerfest is pleased to welcome Swedish power metal riff lords Sabaton to its already head-crushing lineup. Hot on the heels of their outrageously successful 2010 UK tour, the Grammy-nominated finger-shredding purveyors of progressively-tinged power metal about historical wars are sure to bring the house down.

Following the sold out inaugural Hammerfest in 2009 and Hammerfest II in 2010, Hard Rock Hell and Metal Hammer are proud to announce Hammerfest III…

Roma Victa is set to blow your minds once again this spring and beyond as we move into new territories. HF III will be on show in all her glory, next March 18th and 19th at our sacred Temple in Prestatyn, where many a sacrifice has been made to ensure the fortune of all those who venture into its realms. Hammerfest III is put together by Hard Rock Hell (the people behind the hugely successful sold out HRH I, II, III and IV) and the legendary Metal Hammer magazine.

In addition to Sabaton, the 5 bands include heavy metal and hardcore punk legends, Biohazard, who are celebrating their 20th anniversary with a new album and now a one way ticket to blast the FK out the UK with a rare appearance, couple that with American Thrash Lords,…. the mighty, multi resourceful...Municipal Waste and were off the blocks and setting the tone for a very special encounter indeed. Hammerfest III is open to anyone aged 16 and over.

From the UK, we have three new legions in the form of Mutant, Revoker (who have just signed to Roadrunner) and HF heroes Attica Rage who are just about launch their second album.

New Additions to the festival include: Turisas, Ill Nino, Holy Grail, Breed 77, Svart Crown, Headcharger, Jaguar, Elixir, Battleaxe, Triaxis, Graveyeard and Dirty Rose.

There will be over 50 Metal nuggets performing over the three days and quite a few enchanted surprises as we witness our new battleground…Roma Victa, a 360, roman themed, metal experience designed by the people for the people. Last years Hammerfest, sold out, 2 months in advance, in what has been described as some, as the worst year in history, so with nearly 40% on the blocks before we even launch who knows how quick this will go, but be assured that this will be the loudest, baddest mutha fkn event on the planet this spring, which will be sure to kick your ass!!!

Tickets include two nights’ accommodation and entrance to all 6 arenas as well as free car parking. Tickets are on sale now. For further information and ticket sales www.hammerfest.co.uk
