Indie darlings She & Him have unveiled the video for their latest single today. The video for ‘Don’t Look Back’ premiered on lesser-known art blog Design*Sponge earlier this morning: a strange choice perhaps, but She & Him have never been known to do things by the book.
The five-minute video depicts lead singer Zooey Deschanel kicking back in a retro-futuristic apartment while partner M.Ward accompanies on inflatable guitar. Fans of Deschanel will be happy to see the actress clone her own back-up singers before jumping into the video’s sixties-inspired dance climax. ‘Dont Look Back’ is the third single to be taken from the group’s second album ‘Volume Two’.
Meanwhile, Zooey Deschanel is keeping busy with her sideline project from the band, you know the one, that small acting gig that she does. The ‘500 Days of Summer’ star has recently completed two feature-length films: ‘Your Highness’, a medieval comedy starring James Franco and ‘My Idiot Brother’, a dropout comedy featuring Paul Rudd.
