Twisted Sister, Trash Talk, Down and Duff McKagen’s Loaded added to the Download 2011 bill!
It’s announcement week at Download, and organisers have kick-started the latest wave of bands with four of hard-rock’s most raucous acts.
First up, Twisted Sister prove that you can’t stop rock ‘n roll, returning to the Donington bash for the first time since 1983 to bring their blend of American heavy metal to the Download hoard.
Also in the mix are hardcore punkers Trash Talk, who have gained a fierce reputation as one of the genre’s most in-demand bands, thanks in part to their gripping live show and their 2010 album 'Eyes & Nines'.
If that wasn’t enough, Download Festival 2011 will also be welcoming Down back to the festival, who were last seen rocking the Main Stage at Donington back in 2009.
Finally, Duff McKagen brings his band Loaded back to Download, following a memorable performance at the festival back in 2009. With the former GnR bassist fronting these mighty hard rockers, the band go from strength to strength, and if their set two years ago is anything to go by, they will be one of the highlights of the weekend.
