Shit Robot Announces 'The Shit Robot Show' & New Single

Following the release of the his debut album ‘From The Cradle To The Rave’, Shit Robot is now unleashing his debut live show, The Shit Robot Show.

The very first live performance takes place at London’s Fabric on 4th March. The live and AV show features Shit Robot performing ‘inside’ a bespoke screen, which will feature custom-designed visuals to accompany a selection of re-worked tracks from Shit Robot’s back catalogue. After the UK debut, The Shit Robot Show moves to the US, with thee SXSW shows, alongside further US dates, including two spots opening for LCD Soundsystem at Terminal 5.

Alongside these upcoming dates is the release of a super-limited 12” on DFA Records. It’s a glorious double-header. First up is Michael Mayer’s incredibly creative reworking of ‘Tuff Enuff’. Less muscular than Lambkin's original, the remix softens things up by placing supple keys under the hardened exterior. The climax is an otherworldly listening experience that literally builds to take off.

On the flip, John Talabot's remix of ‘Take Em Up’ starts like a laidback house party that builds just enough energy when it's relocated under disco lights. The haunting opening - a swirling, ghostly blend of elliptical vocals and handclaps - leads to a sonic journey that is as smooth as it is wholly entrancing.

‘From The Cradle To The Rave’ is out now.
