Jedward Counsel Charlie Sheen Over Breakdown

X Factor duo Jedward have claimed that they have been offering advice to Hollywood actor Charlie Sheen over his recent public outbursts. John and Edward Grimes have supposedly been in regular contact with the star via Twitter, offering him words of ‘wisdom’ to help with his mental stability.

Sheen has become the focus of widespread media attention following a string of outlandish statements in the American media. The star has confessed to his former drug abuse and even racked up a world record-breaking 1 million followers on Twitter in just 24 hours.

Speaking about their online discussions with Sheen, John Grimes told The Sun: "When there were rumours about things we told him to stay cool and stay focused. We told him he was OK and that he was always going to be cool. And told him we're big fans."

He continued: "I think we're like his protégés. What if we pushed him over the edge? He told us we're different. He's not crazy, he's just attention seeking. He saw that it worked for me and John with our hair."

Meanwhile, Jedward have been chosen as the topic of a behind-the-scenes documentary, set to follow the pair as they represent Ireland in this year’s Eurovision Song Contest. The pair will enter the competition, which takes place on May 14th, with a track entitled ‘Lipstick’.
