Jon Bon Jovi Accuses Apple CEO Steve Jobs of 'Personally Killing The Music Business'

Legendary singer Jon Bon Jovi has made a sensational dig at Apple chairman Steve Jobs, holding him personally responsible for the ‘death’ of the music.

Jobs, who co-found market giants Apple, helped create iTunes, which according to Bon Jovi is liable for ‘killing’ the music industry.

“Kids today have missed the whole experience of putting the headphones on, turning it up to 10, holding the jacket, closing their eyes and getting lost in an album” said Jon.

“And the beauty of taking your allowance money and making a decision based on the jacket, not knowing what the record sounded like, and looking at a couple of still pictures and imagining it.

“God, it was a magical, magical time. I hate to sound like an old man now, but I am, and you mark my words, in a generation from now people are going to say: 'What happened?' Steve Jobs is personally responsible for killing the music business."

Steve Jobs is considered the main man when it comes to Apple, who have dominated the mp3 market with the iPod, and it is fair to say that he has had a very clear cut effect on the music industry – where you can now preview an individual track from an album and purchase it instantly.
