Miley Cyrus Planning To Release Poison Cover?

Disney star Miley Cyrus is planning to release a cover of Poison’s hit song ‘Every Rose Has Its Thorn’, according to the band’s vocalist Bret Michaels.

Speaking to American network E!, Michaels revealed that the cover was intended as a release late last year, but was postponed after rumours circulated that he was having an affair with Cyrus’ mother Tish.

Michaels denied the reports, claiming he was never involved with the young popstar’s mother. The song was eventually included as an album track on Cyrus’ third LP, ‘Can’t Be Tamed’.

Discussing the release, Michaels said: "The record label was supposed to have this huge humongous release of 'Every Rose'. It was going to be Miley's next-step song, but because of [the affair rumours], they stepped back...It really bummed me out."

Michaels went on to state that he believed Cyrus would gain credibility among rock music fans if the release does happen. He said: "I think this is the song that will cross her over...If it happens, it's going to be a big hit."
