US Star P Diddy Requires Police Escort to Travel Single Block

Fresh from his appearance on top-cop show Hawaii Five-0, P-Diddy has run into more trouble with the police – after he used a whole police escort to take him ONE block in New York.
Diddy, real name Sean Combs, was in New York playing a show at the Hammerstein Ballroom on Friday of last week, and requested a police escort to take him back to his hotel.
He recently played an undercover NYPD agent in first series of the remake of the classic Hawaii Five-0, but the star is going to have to keep a very low profile as police have begun investigating the incident after a NYPD spokesman declared the escort as unauthorised.
Michael Bloomberg, Mayor of New York, is among those who found the ordeal ridiculous. ''The bottom line is the police department should treat everybody exactly the same. If you don't get a police escort, P. Diddy shouldn't.''
The escort was reportedly called for by the rapper’s dry cleaner, though why Diddy would have a dry cleaner make any decisions for him is rather unclear.
In related news, the lavish lifestyle of P. Diddy continued as it was reported that he spent £250,000 buying his son a car – because of the good grades he achieved in school.
''Justin has turned himself around and is now an honours student, which he wasn't before – so I wanted to treat him."
