Professor Green Wants Alex Turner Collaboration

Professor Green has stated that he would love to work with Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner. Speaking to NME before his performance at Radio 1’s Big Weekend this weekend, the rapper showed his support for Turner, claiming that he’d love to “hook up” musically.

Green said: "I’d love to hook up with Alex Turner, I love him, I think he’s one of the best writers of our generation."

The rapper went on to discuss his second album, which is currently being recorded. Speaking to the magazine, Green claimed that he has been left with just "16 days to get it done." He described the album so far, saying: "It’s a much more sure record, but it’s a bit darker. We’re going straight for the neck with the first single, I’m not resting on my laurels."

Professor Green also said that he’d love to recruit current chart-topper Adele for a collaboration. He said: "I did a version of her song 'Hometown Glory' a few years ago. She got in touch over MySpace and said how much she liked it. I thought she was going to tell me to get it the fuck off MySpace."
