Professor Green—real name Stephen Manderson—is a rapper and singer-songwriter from Hackney, London.
His interest in becoming a musician was sparked after rapping at a house party, when he began freestyling competitively. He found success on London's freestyle circuit, eventually going on to win MySpace's JumpOff contest and bagging a support slot with Lily Allen. His debut album 'Alive Till I'm Dead' dropped in 2010, followed by 'At Your Inconvenience' in 2011 and, most recently, 'Growing Up In Public' in 2014, as well as a handful of EPs. He is known for hits such as At Your Inconvenience, Be Good To Green with Lily Allen and Read All About It with Emeli Sande. Professor Green has announced a run of UK shows to celebrate the 10th anniversary of 'At Your Inconvenience', which has been rescheduled to April 2023.
