Quickly building a reputation as the leading contender in a brave new era of British rock ‘n’ roll following their debut single ‘The First Time’ and live dates with Brother, Stoke quartet All The Young will release their second single ‘Welcome Home’ on July 4th on Midlands Calling.
'Welcome Home' is an unstoppable rallying call, with avalanche breakdowns, blockbuster riffage and a scorching chorus hook that can't help but ignite a taper in the mind of any lover of good honest indie-rock.
"'Welcome Home' was the one when after we first played it all the way through, we looked around at each other in a different way. Like we didn't know we had it in us," says frontman Ryan Dooley. "It means business that one. There's no way you can play it without your heart and soul fully in it."
All The Young are a band whose whole manifesto chimes with the age-old tale of the lads from a nowhere town, singing about something better than what's outside their door. Currently embarking upon a UK tour, All The Young will then head to Canada for further recording for their debut album with producer Garth Richardson (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rage Against TheMachine, Biffy Clyro) with mixing courtesy of Rich Costey (Mars Volta, Muse, Glasvegas), before returning for further dates.
The band were personally invited by Morrissey to support him at Hanley’s Victoria Hall on July 5th and will also support The Courteeners at a special outdoor gig for the Forestry Commission. The band’s full upcoming tour itinerary is:
