Yellowire Announce New Single 'Starlife'

Yellowire have announced the details of their brand new single ‘Starlife’. The track will be made available as a digital download from today, June 20th. The news comes after the incredible success of the last single ‘Last Breath’ which was play listed on BBC Radio 2 in the UK and had international support with Radio play across Europe, to as far a field as Dubai.

The video for ‘Starlife is a mammoth creative and technical collaboration between the director Marcus Lyall (Chemical Brothers / Metallica / Lilly Allen), graphic artist Jimmy Turrell (Glastonbury 2009 for The Guardian) and producer Mark Logue(Of Kings Speech fame). It involves a spectacular amount of paper and ink and is being carefully pieced together by hand at the moment. We'll have the video for you soon!

Having played a number of live dates including a residency at the Garage (Islington), the Isle of Wight Festival on June 10th and Rock am Ring, Germany on June 4th. The band have also been confirmed for Hard Rock Calling and Lattitude Festivals. Full list of dates below.

Ol Beach, who is to all intents and purposes Yellowire, was brought up in an incredibly musical family. His father, Jim Beach, has been the manager of legendary rock band Queen since 1978. Ol’s musical pedigree is second to none, he was educated at the Montreux Jazz Conservatoire.
Ol’s previous band Wire Daises had number one tracks on iTunes in the UK and France, toured the world with the likes of Robbie Williams and Starsailor and released two albums through EMI.

In the coming weeks Yellowire will be announcing details of their debut album. Check back to Stereoboard.com for more details as they're announced.

Yellowire Tour Dates are as follows:
