Miley Cyrus has surprise released a new song, Younger You.
The Grammy-winning singer first previewed the pop ballad during her Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special, which aired on Disney+ earlier this week. Announcing the track in a post shared to Instagram, she said:
"Younger me has loved celebrating 20 years of Hannah Montana with you. This song is yours as a thank you for the life we’ve grown through together. I love you always."
Hannah Montana was a comedy television series that ran for four seasons between 2006 and 2011, starring a then-unknown Cyrus as Miley Stewart, a Los Angeles teenager who secretly leads a double life as pop star Hannah Montana.
Cyrus released her latest studio album, 'Something Beautiful', followed by its expanded deluxe edition, in 2025. Its companion pop-opera film is currently streaming on Disney+.
Last November, she shared Dream As One, a collaboration with Mark Ronson and Andrew Wyatt recorded for the film Avatar: Fire and Ash, the third film in Oscar-winning filmmaker James Cameron's Avatar franchise.
