Cheryl Cole 'Gets Injunction Against Paparazzi'

Cheryl Cole has taken out an injunction preventing photographers from following her or taking photos of her other than at public events, according to reports.

Heat magazine has claimed that the Girls Aloud singer has attempted to prevent the press from taking photographs over her in any private places including her home, her friends' and family's home and buildings not open to the general public.

According to Heat, the measure may be Cheryl Cole attempting to take a step out of the limelight. The gossip magazine has quoted a friend of Cole’s as saying: "She's not sure she wants anything to do with showbusiness anymore. She has devoted everything to being famous and she believes it has cost her her health, her marriage and her peace of mind. It's time for a change.

They continued: "Cheryl has vowed to put her life back together, and for now that does not include any part of the fame game. She has said she's always making massive changes to her life." If these (tenuous) reports are to be believed, it may be an indication that the indicated Girls Aloud reunion in 2012 is far from set in stone.

Cole has been reluctant to offer any interviews or statements since being axed from the US ‘X Factor’ late last month. However the magazine has implied that she may be getting tired of public life. The source added: "She said that she felt like her whole life had been bugged - she was being watched every minute of the day. Everyone had an opinion on what she was doing, and on her relationships. She just felt it had become too much and was getting to her."
