Sonisphere Knebworth Announce Stage Times

Were now just nine days away from one of the rock events of the year as Sonisphere hits the UK for the weekend of 8th 10th July at Knebworth House.
This years event sees Metal's Big 4 (Anthrax, Megadeth, Slayer and Metallica) together in the UK for the very first time in what has been billed as one of the most anticipated events in the history of metal music. Joining Metallica (who play on Friday) as headliners are Scottish rockers Biffy Clyro (playing Saturday) and the return of Slipknot (playing Sunday).
The unique split stage idea of having bands playing alternately across the two main stages does away with frustrating clashes, so festival-goers will be able to catch other acts on the bill including The Mars Volta, Weezer, Limp Bizkit and the legendary Motorhead as well as a second stage headline slot for comedian Bill Bailey.
Elsewhere the likes of Sean Hughes and Jason Rouse amongst others provide comedy and early risers on Sunday can listen to Howard Marks speak about some of his interesting experiences. On the smaller stages you can catch the likes of The Answer, Killing Joke, Paradise Lost and Black Spiders.
