Bass-loving promoters Bedlam have announced that they will bring their huge, sub-woofer driven show back to Cardiff this October, with a brand new sound system.
Posting through their Facebook page today, the organisers wrote “BEDLAM returns to CARDIFF on OCTOBER 1st.......” meaning the Welsh capital will be preparing for their first Cardiff Bedlam event since March. In a series of messages posted earlier today, they also revealed that “All videos/tunes we post on this facebook page between now and October will be artists we are bringing to Cardiff this Autumn...”.
So far, drum and bass heavyweight DJ Friction has been unveiled as making an appearance as Bedlam posted his new track ‘Someone’, which you can hear embedded below, earlier on today. Also posted was Zomboy, a dubstep producer from Guilford. If you know the Bedlam promoters, they won’t fail to bring the big names to any event - last year’s Bedlam saw The Scratch Perverts, Joker, Excision Rat Pack Nero and Camo and Krooked all in the same building, and proved to be an brilliant night. Bedlam's last event in March saw a different approach to the line-up with less drum and bass/dubstep influence and a more commercial approach - hopefully this time the promoters will return to their roots, but whoever the Bedlam guys bring, it always promises to be an awesome night.
But, just in case they faced challenge from another promoter, the Bedlam team have even bought a new speaker system for the show, which they described as ‘incredible’. So with the big names on their way, a new speaker system and a year since the last Bedlam rave, Cardiff will be raring to go when the 1st of October comes around. Bring it on!
Tickets for the event will go onsale in the near future – check Stereoboard for updates on Bedlam tickets.
