3 Doors Down Planning UK Tour With Seether

American rockers 3 Doors Down have revealed in an interview that they will return to the UK in 2012 to tour their new album – hopefully accompanied by grunge band Seether.
The southerners release their fifth studio album 'Time of my Life' tomorrow after a month’s delay and are prepping for what will be one of their biggest European and UK tours to date. The band decided to delay their LP release by a month, due to the Foo Fighters album release and tours which would have distracted from their efforts. With a US tour already booked, the band decided to use that pre-booked American trip as a warm-up for their 2012 excursion to Britain and Europe.
Speaking to metal site Epsyrock, guitarist Chris Henderson admitted “This tour was already booked so we’re like ah fuck it, let’s just go, see some people, play some shows, get warmed back up for Europe again as we’re coming back in February.”
“Hopefully I don’t jinx it; we’re trying to come back with Seether which would be fucking great!”
Henderson also told Espyrock that he feels the only way to make money nowadays is through extensive touring.
“It’s the only way, the only fucking way; downloading has killed it. We make a little money on publishing and like sponsorships and merchandise if people buy our t-shirts but touring, on the fucking road, playing shows, that’s how you fucking do it like it or not.
“We love touring and we do a lot of fucking shows and we’re here now and the record was supposed to be out.”
