Stereoboard can reveal that London-based grime king Skepta has scheduled an autumn UK tour, ahead of the release of his un-named fourth studio album.
The songwriter and producer will play shows in Brighton, Glasgow, Leicester, Liverpool, Newcastle, Norwich and Sheffield this October, with tickets set to go on sale soon. See below for dates and details.
Skepta has three studio albums already released, with ‘Doin’ it Again’ only coming out in January earlier this year, but the rapper will put out a fourth LP this autumn. This fresh album looks to be his best so far too, after record company Interscope bought the rights of the first single ‘Dare to Dream’ – so megastar Eminem could perform the song.
Skepta, real name Joseph Adenuga, had also planned to call the album ‘Lights, Camera, Action’, but the CD is now un-named – after he found out that Tinchy Stryder would also be using that name for his new album (fair enough). But with a potentially great album in the pipeline, the UK tour could be a sell-out – so make sure you grab your tickets quick. Dates are below.
