Hip-hop hero Kanye West is going all out for his performance at the Big Chill Festival this weekend, with the star spending £7000 a night to stay in the castle grounds and making organisers add a special stage piece for him to perform on.
Kanye, 34, will spend the night in Eastnor Castle, where the festival takes place, prior to his headline slot on Saturday. The plush resort includes 12 luxury bedrooms, a huge, gothic style dining room, a full library, and a red hall full of medieval history. And when it comes time for him to get up on stage, he’ll be taken their by one of those huge 16-seater hummer limos. He won’t be living the festival life this weekend – the place is truly fit for a king.
When he arrives at the festival though, he will even have his own customised section of the stage – allowing the ‘Gold Digger’ singer to really get up close to his fans and make the show that much better. Also includes is a team of 20 ‘locally sourced’ ballet dancers. This comes to light just days after we reported Kanye’s feud with Jay-Z over their ‘Watch The Throne’ tour budget – which Kanye wants to use to make the tour an incredibly lavish and OTT affair.
“[He requested] a moving platform on a mechanical arm,” revealed an inside source. “It means Kanye can get right up close with the crowd.”
