The Wanted Set To Support Justin Bieber On 2011 Tour

Half English-half Irish boy band The Wanted have landed one of their biggest support roles in their career today, after they were announced to as Justin Bieber’s warm-up act for his South American tour.

The 17 year-old Canadian sensation has been touring the world and has now lined-up a South American tour, and wants the ‘Glad You Came’ singers to join him as he travels through Brazil, Chile and Argentina. Tickets for the gigs were already selling fast and with the addition of The Wanted, it looks likely that the majority of gigs will sell out.

“It's a massive deal for the lads as it will introduce them to a whole new audience and fanbase,” a source said. “The boys are joking they're going to lead Justin astray and shove a few beers down his neck.”

Bieber seems to be excited for the tour himself, too, tweeting: “SOUTH AMERICA #myworldtour seems like it is gonna be CRAZY!! te amo mucho. gracias.”

The Wanted release their highly-anticipated follow-up to their self-titled debut album later this year in November, and will tour in 2012. For tickets and details of their 2012 tour, see below.
