Cheryl Cole Working With David Guetta On New LP

Cheryl Cole is working with dance merchant David Guetta on her new studio album, if tabloid reports are to be believed. The former ‘X Factor’ judge is currently in America recording the follow-up to her debut album ‘Messy Little Raindrops’, and if the Daily Mirror is to be believed, David Guetta is now lending her assistance behind the production desk.

Cheryl Cole has been working with Black Eyed Peas frontman Will.i.am over the past few months, trying to secure her success in the US. However, the Girls Aloud singer has now added David Guetta to her long list of collaborators according to the tabloid paper.

Guetta is hardly known to shy away from collaborations, having worked with Taio Cruz, Rihanna and Madonna in recent years. Guetta is yet to comment on his involvement with Cheryl Cole, but is committed to recording the follow-up to Jessie J’s successful debut LP for the next few months.

The Daily Mirror has quoted one of their ‘sources’ as saying: “Cheryl will be a top solo star in the US, if Will has anything to do with it. The man is so well connected, and he sleeps, breathes and eats music.”

They continued: “He has a studio at home in which he is trying out new sounds for Cheryl. He wants the best and is very picky. David is an old friend and has produced some of the best dance anthems of the past few years, so it’s a good place to start.”
