Girls Aloud singer Kimberly Walsh has stoked rumours of a group reunion after she told the Daily Mirror that Cheryl Cole and the rest of the girls are all up for celebrating their 10-year anniversary next year.
Nicola Roberts first told of the idea of an anniversary reunion earlier this year in June, after speaking to Radio 1’s Scott Mills. And now Walsh, who denied rumours that the band had split up for good, has furthered the claims.
“We all want to do something to celebrate our 10-year anniversary,” Walsh told the Mirror, “because it’s a massive achievement.
“There aren’t any actual plans in place – if there were we wouldn’t be telling you! We definitely do want to do something. We will definitely re-group. I don’t think that will be the end, though. I don’t think we will ever break-up. Girls last forever.”
Although there are no official plans set in place for a reunion, fans must be confident that they’ll get to see their five favourites back on stage together – especially after Walsh was spotted travelling to Los Angeles to meet with co-star Cheryl Cole.
